Stuffed Buns

Ingredients:

For the dough:

2 cups flour
3/4 cups milk
1 tbsp oil or melted butter
1 packet yeast (1 tsp)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar

Chinese style chicken:

2 cooked chicken breasts
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp ground or 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
1 carrot, julienned
1 shallot, julienned
1 clove garlic, minced
dash rice vinegar
salt & pepper

1. Shred chicken breasts.
2. Toss ingredients together until coated.
3. Set aside until dough is ready.

BBQ pork:

2 cooked pork chops
3 tbsp bbq sauce
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
dash rice vinegar
salt & peppr

1. Shred or dice pork.
2. Toss cabbage in vinegar, salt, & pepper
3. Set aside until dough is ready.
4. Layer pork and cabbage into buns.

Ham & cheese:

1 cup ham, cubed
1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozarella works best)

1. Divide ham & cheese equally among dough rounds.

Taco:

1/2lb ground beef or leftover steak cut up small
1 small shallot, diced
1 clove garlic, diced
A handful chopped cilantro
1 tbsp chili powder
salt & pepper

1. Brown beef over med heat.
2. When beef is mostly done, drain grease and add all other ingredients, continue sauteing for 5 more minutes.
3. Set aside until dough is ready.

Pizza:

8oz package pepperoni
1/2 cup shredded mozarella
Pizza sauce

1. Layer ingredients onto dough rounds.

Directions:

1. Heat the milk in the microwave 20 seconds until it's body temp.
2. Whisk yeast and sugar into milk and allow it to activate for 2-3 minutes.
3. In a med size mixing bowl, mix all dough ingredients until a soft dough forms.
4. Cover with a towel or plastic wrap and put in a warm place for an hour.
5. While dough is rising, prep filling choice.
6. Preheat oven to 400F
7. Knock back dough, then divide into 8 sections.
8. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each section into a 6-8" round.
9. Scoop filling onto center of dough rounds and pinch in edges to make a round bun.
10. Place seam down onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
11. Bake for 18-20 min until dough is lightly golden & crisp.
